Bio

Deborah Worthy-Collins is an early career Boorloo (Perth) based mixed media artist holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts from Edith Cowan University. Her process-based studio practice explores themes of life cycle, connection, and healing. She has had a solo show in 20202, been involved in many group exhibitions, and has run paper making workshops for children and adults. Her work has been exhibited at Spectrum Project Space ECU, PS Art Fremantle, The Lobby Swanbourne and Ellenbrook Arts Centre. In 2018 Deborah was profiled in the Athena Magazine and in 2019 was the feature artist in Precious HK Magazine’s Biannual Art Exchange.  Having recently completed a Master of Social Work at the University of Western Australia Deborah would like to explore how art can be used for social change and community engagement.
